Blog 07/16/07 : TV Appearances
This week has been a busy week for me. On Monday I filmed another segment with my friend Montel Williams for his television show and Thursday night I had the honor of being interviewed by none other than Larry King himself on CNN. This was a monumental occasion in that when I was a young boy growing up, my father and I would watch Larry King together and to think that one day it could be me sitting across the table from him is truly a dream come true. A big thanks again to Montel Williams and Larry King for having me on their shows and another big thanks to the loyal for e-mailing and calling in with your questions. BTW, thanks for all of the kind words and support during a very private and difficult time, unfortunately made public. You are the best! Criss Angel more to come will let you know ok

NEW BLOG AS OF AUG 20TH 2007
..> 08/20/07 : Godsmack & Go-Carts I just wanted to give you all a quick update on what's been going on the past couple of weeks. Last Friday I had the pleasure once again to introduce my good friend Sully's band, Godsmack, over in the Pearl at the Palms Hotel & Casino. It was amazing! If you've never seen them live it's one hell of a show and the best drum solo I've ever seen! I also had a chance to ride go-carts with my crew again and hit 90?? Thanks to Sully and the entire Godsmack crew for welcoming me time and again to their shows and thanks to the Luxor staff for giving me a place to go riding! 'Till next time…

More criss angel blogs
02/26/07 : Sunday, February 11, 2007What better way to start this blog then to announce my upcoming appearance on the hit show CSI: NY. Interrupting the MINDFREAK filming schedule in Las Vegas I boarded the MINDFREAK RV and headed to Los Angeles to prepare for my 2 day shoot with the cast and crew of CSI: NY. After reading through the script and developing how I am going to play my character "Luke Blade" during the road trip I am convinced this will be a great departure for me from my day to day role on MINDFREAK.
Posts from the set to follow soon!

02/28/07 : Monday, February 12, 2007Los Angeles
Thus far the cast and crew have been amazing on the set of CSI: NY. From the wardrobe department to the director Rob. Even though I was up all night with food poisoning I am having an incredible time. My first scene involved some duck tape and a straight jacket. Later tonight there will be a killing but I am not at liberty to reveal the details of that :)
More to come!

03/01/07 : Tuesday, February 13, 2007Los Angeles
The first day of my CSI: NY shoot was unforgettable. I had the opportunity to act along side academy award nominated Gary Sinise as well as Melina Kanakaredes. Eddie Cahill was also fantastic to work with. Today we are filming on location in downtown Los Angeles outside the Public Library where I will be doing 2 different death defying demonstrations. Check back to my fan club website to view my personal photos from the set.

03/02/07 : Las VegasI would like to take this opportunity to thank all the cast and crew from CSI: NY for their time and patience during the past few weeks. What an experience! I have returned to Las Vegas and am looking forward to resuming my hectic filming schedule on Criss Angel MINDFREAK. Stayed tuned!

03/07/07 : Dog the Bounty Hunter Friday February 23, 2007
Today I was faced with a challenge that I was unable to fully conquer. Similar to the 100’ rope challenge I performed during season 1, I upped the ante by adding water to it and gave them an unlimited amount of time to secure me to the chair. Who better to help me with this challenge than Dog the Bounty Hunter and his family, who have arrested more than 6,000 fugitives many who they’ve tied up when they had to transport state to state. Dog and his family began by tying me up with a 100’ of rope while I sat in a wooden chair. The rope was tied so tight my circulation was cut off, my limbs began to turn blue. Dog shoved me backwards into the water once they were happy with how they tied me up. After more than 3 minutes under water I was able to free my hands and legs but not my waist. I have never met a challenge I was unable to beat and I must admit I felt defeated even though I escaped 80% of the rope. Dog felt that was a success because if I were a fugitive I could have killed them. Dog and his family tied quite the knot. Never satisfied until I succeed a new challenge was made for a rematch. I will be ready.

03/09/07 : CSI PremiereThank you to the Luxor for hosting such a wonderful premiere party for my appearance on CSI: NY. Thank you to all of the fans who supported me by watching the episode- your support means the world to me. This episode of CSI: NY on CBS was #1 on television in its time slot with a 9.2 rating and 15 shares. It was officially the last night of February sweeps. I was very proud of this milestone.

03/12/07 : Magician of the YearThursday February 29, 2007
Last night I was honored to be the first magician ever to be named magician of the year 2 years in a row (2007 & 2008 IMS) and hold the current record for magician of the year - 5 times (2001, 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2008). I am grateful to be able to do something I love and to be recognized by my peers even though I never set out to do so. After receiving this prestigious award I continued filming on Fremont Street where I walked on the tips of 12 18” flathead screwdrivers standing upright in front of a 1,000 or so bystanders. It was crazy!

07/06/07 : UpdateI hope you all are enjoying the new season of Mindfreak so far. It’s been a while since my last blog and I wanted to update all of you with what’s been going .. we wrapped production in late April, I went on a whirlwind media tour to promote my new book and the new season. After about 3 weeks of interviews and press, which included everyone from Conan O’Brien to Oprah, my crew and myself headed to New York for the Cement Block escape where I saw many familiar faces. Thousands of you showed up once again to support me and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. About 2 weeks ago I even had the chance to sit down at my computer and talk with some of the fans in the chat room. Thank you all for your questions and keep looking out…you might see me in there again#9786;
